Emergency Bride Kit
Every bride should have these
1. Safety Pins
The undisputed queen of emergency wedding fixes. Broken zip? Loose strap? Button mishap?
Safety pins have saved more weddings than I can count.
2. Painkillers
Headache. Tension headache. Too much prosecco headache, sore feet headache.
Need I say more?
3. Blister Plasters
Those gorgeous shoes that felt amazing during the fitting? Different story after eight hours. Trust me. Pack them.
4. Tissues
Not just for you. For everybody else.
Dads are usually the first to need them.
5. Fashion Tape
Necklines. Straps. Gaps. Unexpected wardrobe rebellions.
Fashion tape is magic.
6. Mini Sewing Kit
Tiny. Lightweight. Potentially wedding-saving.
Remember to cut out those pesky hanging loops they always manage to escape during the day.
7. Mints
You’ll spend all day talking, kissing, laughing and greeting guests. A quick smooch with the new Hubster!
You’ll be grateful they’re there.
8. Phone Charger Or Power Bank
Imagine all the use the camera will be getting on the telephone all day.
Somebody always forgets one and usually when they need it most.
9. A Straw
Sounds ridiculous.
Until you’re wearing lipstick. And trying to drink without destroying it.
10. Deodorant
A wedding is a marathon disguised as a party. The dress can be heavy and feels like wearing it is a bit of a workout.
A little freshen-up can work wonders.
Andrea’s Secret
The most important thing in the entire emergency kit? Not the safety pins. Not the plasters. Not even the charger.
It’s assigning somebody else to carry it.
Because the last thing a bride should be doing on her wedding day is rummaging through a handbag looking for a plaster.
